What is The Essentials Room?

The Greedy House Essentials Room is a full-service, in-school resource center located inside C.J. Donald Middle School. Created by Jourdin Crawford, this space is designed to give students access to free hygiene products, school supplies, light clothing, and snacks — no judgment, no questions asked.

Whether a student needs deodorant before a big test, a notebook to finish an assignment, or a snack after practice, this room is here to quietly fill the gap.

Items Available in the Essentials Room

• 🧼 Hygiene Supplies – deodorant, soap, toothpaste, pads, bonnets
• ✏️ School Supplies – notebooks, pens, backpacks, binders
• 🍎 Snacks – fruit cups, granola bars, trail mix, juice boxes
• 👕 Clothing – socks, tees, undergarments (new only)
  and more!

How It Works

The Essentials Room is open to CJD students throughout the school year:

• Before School:7AM – 8:00 AM
• After School: 3:30 PM – 5PM
• During the Day: With a staff pass or counselor referral

All visits are private and discreet. Students can take what they need — no questions, no sign-in, no proof required
